Senior Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer, you will work on developing a Warehouse Intelligent System (WIS) which is the heart of our solution and integrated to the robotic fleet management module.

The successful candidate will have strong technical skills in backend system development, along with strong interpersonal skills to manage interactions with the core engineering team.

What You’ll Do

  • Work closely with the core team to drive architecture and enhance technical roadmap of WIS and its integration capabilities to 3rd party warehouse applications.

  • Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code

  • Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements

  • Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure project meets business objectives and compliance standards

  • Support test and deployment of new products and features

  • Participate in code reviews

Who You are

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent

  • Strong sense of ownership and drive

  • Strong analytical abilities and debugging/troubleshooting skills

  • Solid understanding of database design, implementation, and interaction from code via Entity Framework

  • Programming experience with at least one modern language such as C#, Java, Go or Typescript

  • Ability and flexibility to work with teams across multiple time zones

  • Nice to haves

  • • Professional experience with web frameworks; Angular And/or React or equivalent

  • • Experience with integrating apps with backend RESTful or GraphQL services

  • • Bonus points for experience/expertise with any of: GIT, gRPC, Kafka, Redis, Zookeeper, Kuberneztes, Docker, Postgres, CI/CD.

  • • Solid experience with software builds and delivery process, particularly with use of cloud-based services.
